Navigation changes
Your sidebar navigation menus in Cascade will soon be getting some exciting improvements.
Get to all the same pages and features as before, but now with a simple layout, icons for the most important options, new secondary 'pop out' menus and improved accessibility all helping you find things faster.
For admins, the Admin sidebar and dashboard both now feature everything you can do in Admin – helping you move quicker than ever to the settings you need.
And if you're an admin managing user permissions so your colleagues get access to all the features they need, the Roles page now matches the same structure you see in the new navigation menus, making it easier than ever to manage detailed permissions in Cascade.
Like all great software products, Cascade continues to evolve to meet the needs of businesses today. The old sidebar navigation has served us well, but we needed to make it more simple and to modernise usability and accessibility – helping you and your colleagues do things faster.
We've carefully chosen icons to match the links or menus they represent. This helps everyone find things quickly, so there isn't an option to change them.
The new sidebar navigation fully replaces the old one and is an automatic, permanent upgrade for all users.
Yes. You'll find all your existing groups in the new 'Team' pop out menu in HR.
Yes. The Roles page and sidebar navigation menus have been reorganised with some individual role items moved into new groups, but we have taken care to make sure everyone has access to the things they had before – and nothing more.
